Wildlife Recovery

No one wants to have a bad shot, resulting in a wounded animal being out in the woods suffering.  When the blood trails fades out or the animal takes a dive into thick cover, it can seem impossible to find it.

When this happens, ethical hunting standards dictate that you use every means at your disposal to locate and recover them.

Drone use is an innovative method of searching for and aiding in the recovery of a lost game animals.

Conduct a search of the area without disturbing the natural habitat, vegetation, and other wildlife in the area

Speed the recovery of a downed animal, avoiding spoilage due to warm weather or being ruined by predator animals

Avoid "bumping" a wounded animal farther away or into more difficult terrain

Easily pick up the body heat of a downed game entirely hidden from ground-level sight

Once located, drone will use GPS tracking to pinpoint the location and provide a pin to your favorite hunting app

Help guide you into the area and provide an aerial view of the carcass location to ease the recovery process

How It Works

Schedule Your Flight

  • Call or text us directly at 318-349-9410.

  • We’ll discuss the location, acreage, terrain, time of shot, and schedule the recovery flight.

We Deploy Our Drone Team

  • Our FAA Part 107 Certified pilots scan your land using best-in-class DJI Matrice drones equipped with thermal and zoom capabilities.

We Launch and Search

  • Our pilot will conduct a thermal and visual sweep of location where the animal was shot and widen the search as needed in a systematic pattern.

Game Is Located

  • When the animal is identified, the pilot makes a determination of it's condition.

  • If the game is deceased, then the pilot will drop a GPS Pin Locator and relay that information to you.

  • Pilot will then assist in guiding you to the location for recovery.

  • If the animal is wounded but still alive, the pilot will attempt to determine the extent of the wound and likely outcome.

    • Pilot is prohibited by law from giving the location of a wounded animal to the customer.

    • If the game is not located or is wounded, optional follow-up flights (Add-On) can be coordinated.  Scheduled follow-ups are at a discounted rate.
